Future-Ready Workforce

Graduates would be equipped with foundational, multidisciplinary skills that are highly sought after as markets and technology continue to evolve, directly supporting the government’s goal of building a “future-ready workforce”.

Applied Doctorates

We intend to focus on training master’s and doctoral students, including through the applied doctorates scheme, to develop industry-ready expertise in RAI.

Curriculum Development

RAISE would develop new interdisciplinary postgraduate coursework curricula, engaging with strategic partners like REANNZ and industry to ensure relevance.

Public Education

RAISE would actively inform and educate the New Zealand public about the safe use of AI, thereby addressing the knowledge and skills barriers that impede AI uptake.

Global Talent Pipeline

We seek to establish a pipeline of global talent through visiting fellowships and funded positions, cementing RAISE as a world-class multidisciplinary research community.
